Parish Council Commissions

Worship and Spiritual Development Commission

Purpose: Initiates and coordinates those activities of the parish which foster the spiritual growth of the members, especially those pertaining to the celebration of the Liturgy of the Church

Social Concerns Commission

Purpose: Involved with the physical, psychological, social and economic needs of the people. This Commission is a liaison between the Parish Council and the various parish organizations or committees.

Christian Education Commission

Purpose: To assist individuals and families to attain that level of Christian maturity and commitment needed to lead full Christian lives.

Administration Commission

Purpose: To share responsibility for the material needs and functional aspects of the administration of the parish including long-range planning.

St. Peter Parish Council

The Council Meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the Marian Chapel Meeting Room at 7:00 p.m.

All regular meetings of the council are open to all members of the parish. Persons wishing to speak or present viewpoints at a council meeting are asked to submit a written request to the council President at least three (3) days prior to the meeting in order to be placed on the agenda and to participate in discussion.

All personnel matters shall be discussed during executive sessions.
