Vocations Crucifix and Prayers

St. Peter parish is participating in a Diocese-wide program of praying for vocations.  In the back of church is a blessed crucifix and prayer book.  Each Sunday a family volunteers to take the crucifix and prayer book home.  The prayer book has a reflection and prayer for each day of the week--it takes only 5 minutes each day.  The crucifix and prayer book are then returned the next weekend and another family or individual takes their turn.  A notebook is provided for you to sign in the week you wish to participate.  We are in great need of vocations to the priesthood and religious life.  Participating in this program is a valuable way you can serve the Body of Christ through your prayers.
